The match was at Old Trafford Stadium. The match started with Manchester United's kick-off, the first goal was seen at 27th minute by Ángel Di María with a great assist from Juan Mata which was given as a weak pass. Ángel Di María shot in the right lower corner. There were many chances created and missed by Falcao and Van Persie. But all were very tight one.

At the 45th min there was a penalty given to Everton. The penalty taker was Baines which hit at low left corner which was superbly saved by David de Gea. It was for the first time that Baines had missed a penaly shoot. in this season

But after the break in second half just after 10 mins Everton equalized the score with a fine header by Steven Naismith. And a great assist and cross from Leighton Baines which equalized the score. But the Manchester United recovered from it and scored another goal in just an interval of 7 mins which was a classic shot from Radamel Falcao and straight in the center. A great assist from Ángel Di María which made this shot possible in a very tight situation in which Everton Player insisted referee for and off-side, but it was not.

All the gone crazy on the substitute player Marouane Fellaini coming off the bench to create some magic was not able to do so in just 15 mins of playing time given to him. There were many attacks from Everton but a great and classy performance from Manchester United Goal Keeper secured Manchester United a win over Everton 2-1 and 3 points in the league table.
